Pansy Tea Cosy

I am still crocheting the pansies for the two teacosies which I have knitted. Not sure which I like best .... the purple or the green? Anyway I am crocheting one pansy a night as they are tricky little things! Done in Appletons 2ply fine wool. I like them though! So I've made 5 so far and have about 7 and the leaves still to do.

Not much happening this week!

Last week I finished the 2nd month of the Debbie Abrahams Mystery Blanket and since then I haven't picked up another thing! I haven't been inspired to do anything really. Next Friday I am going along to Annie Huntley's house on the gold Coast for a workshop. I hope to finish the crazy patch embroidery that I started this time last year! Just to have some pictures up this week I have chosen some bags which I made ages ago. The tapestry bag was made at Koala Conventions in 2008 and I finished is last year. It is a mixed media piece designed by Lesley turpin- Delport and the second bag is a ribbon and beaded extravaganza designed by Helan Pearce. I love bags!!

Holidays and not much embroidery

I have been so focused on the Debbie Abrahams Mystery Blanket that I have done very little else for the last couple of weeks. Went down to the house at Eureka, Byron Bay Hinterland last week and just took my knitting along to do in the evenings. Beautiful weather there and so went to the beach with Jim and Harry and did a few nice drives through the hinterland. Also drove down to Lennox Head and Ballina. Had dinner one night with Neil and Tracey and other than that some serious relaxing!
